To All PCC Stakeholders:
Michael Pearlmutter has informed the Board of Governors of his resignation as Executive Director of the Partnership for Clean Competition to pursue another opportunity with a philanthropic organization. We thank Michael for the seven years he committed to furthering anti-doping research and wish him well in his future endeavors.
Michael’s last day will be May 14th, and he’s working with all of us at the PCC to ensure a smooth transition.
During this period of transition for the PCC, the Board of Governors wants all researchers, grant recipients, and supporters to be aware that the PCC and its founding partners remain committed to protecting the integrity of sport, and the PCC will continue to function without interruption.
We will immediately begin the process of finding a new Executive Director, and will take this opportunity to ensure that the PCC continues to be set up for long-term success. In the meantime, the PCC’s Board of Governors, Scientific Advisory Board, and Communications Director will continue the PCC’s mission of funding anti-doping research and development globally until a new Executive Director is in place.
Sincerely,
PCC Board of Governors

Kevin Manara, NFL
Chris McCleary, USOPC
Ed Merrens, MD, USADA
A Note from Michael Pearlmutter
Dear Anti-Doping Friends and Colleagues,
I hope that this letter finds you well. I’m writing to tell you that I am leaving my role as Executive Director of the Partnership for Clean Competition in May.
As some of you know, my wife and I are preparing to welcome twins into the world. We could not be more excited, but we also know the babies will create new challenges for us. As a result, we’ve decided to relocate to New York to be closer to family.
While leaving the PCC was an incredibly difficult decision, I feel certain I am making the right choice for my family. I am immensely grateful for the support I’ve received and for the opportunity I’ve had to support your efforts over the past 7+ years.
As for what comes next, I have accepted a position in New York City as the Executive Director of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation.
My last day at the PCC will be May 14th.I will be working with all of you over the next few weeks to make sure you and the PCC are set up for success when I depart. I hope that you remain excited to work with the PCC, as we remain steadfast in our commitment to continue our progress in anti-doping.
Finally, I want to thank you all for welcoming me into your community, allowing me to play some small role in fighting for clean sport, and for teaching me the intricacies of anti-doping science. Your dedication, tenacity, and brilliance have long been a source of inspiration for me and will continue to be for the rest of my career.
Respectfully,
Michael Pearlmutter
