Our Most Holistic Event to Date.
Building upon the success of our sold-out 2017 event, in 2019 we expanded our programming from two days to three to offer an agenda that provided insight across the anti-doping landscape. #PCC2019 featured keynote speeches, panels, demonstrations, and multi-track sessions from a wide range of anti-doping authorities, including analytical scientists and lab directors, social scientists, athletes, administrators of anti-doping programs, legal experts, and many more.
What we acheived
A lab tour, incredible speakers across multiple tracks, and the unveiling of cutting-edge tech.
Attendees followed the life-cycle of the anti-doping process from practice to podium through 3 days of sessions and keynotes which addressed the perspectives and challenges of all stakeholders, from lab directors to social scientists. The PCC partnered with leading institutions, such as the social science authorities at Leeds Beckett University and the Drug Control Centre London to ensure expert representation from the entire spectrum of anti-doping stakeholders. Speakers included analytical chemists spurring new discovery, social scientists assessing athlete motive and buy-in, professional athletes offering unique insight, legal experts, and many more.
Our most comprehensive conference to date also included hands-on experiences such as mock sample collection and a lab tour at the WADA-Accredited facility run by the renowned Dr. David Cowan and some of the analysts in charge of testing for the 2012 Olympic games.
